The week of May 31st was a big week for us here at Tasman with the school cross-country on the Monday followed by the Moutere Hill Inter-School Cross Country on the Thursday. We did ourselves proud with everyone running to full potential. Special Room4 recognition goes out to Tayne as he easily won both of his races (and still sprinted it out at the finish!), Atorea for winning the school race and Mars for coming in third at Rabbit Isand for the inter-school race. Congratulations guys! We look forward to next week's Motueka Championships.

Mr Kempthorn's visit
15/02/10
Richard Kempthorne (the Mayor) came to talk to us about the penpal project we are working on in Grootegast in the Netherlands. He mentioned how we are sister cities and how Tasman and Grootegast are alike. Mr Kempthorne aslo brought along some photographs of the school. It looks very cold there everyone is dressed warmly and the landscape is very white with snow. We are looking forward to hearing back from our penpals.
