Room 4 have been working on making masks because we are participating in the mask parade, as a  part of the Nelson arts festival ...

We are very enthusiastic about taking part every two years and are all looking forward to seeing other schools' creations!

We hope the judges play close attention to ours!

Last week 5 people from Room 4 went down to our local estuary the "Moutere Inlet". We are doing some ongoing monitoring with Megan from EMR see what impact "Muddy Buddies" made.

Last week was awesome. We had an action packed week of tramping, tenting, abseiling, cockelling, biscuiting, swimming and snorkelling. We were gifted with perfect weather which helped in all the outdoor pursuits. Many thanks to all the fabulous parents that helped to make this a truly special week. H2O Xtreme : Screams of excitement and bolts of laughter echoed throughout the complex as we came thundering down the waterslide.

Zoo: At Wellington Zoo we had a night tour. There were giraffes, lions, cheetahs and enrichment making for the monkeys. This involving stuffing pinecones with popcorn, jam and seeds to encourage natural behaviour that they would do in the wild. We slept and there were noises all night long . finally morning came and we woke up bright and early to all sorts of animal sounds then we started a day tour to see all the animals that we did not get to see the night before! We feed the monkeys their enrichment we made the day before¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

We played golf at the Kina golf course

With Mahana school and we played on the 21 of June. The nice sea view and the sun shine put some enjoyment

Practising my british accent on the edge of Lake Geneva in Switzerland :)

Hey room 4 and others sorry i havn't posted for so long it's because I have had jet lag and been real tired and been sight seeing the world and meeting my new Uncle Les and Auntie Lyn .. oooo and being on Close up. It wont be on TV for about a month. Cause Paul and Jason from TV are going to film us on the London Eye next month. We went up the Eiffel tower to the top. It was wicked and a long way down. We travelled in a open top bus and watched the french people tooting and yellying and driving crazy.

Golf at Tasman Golf Course

We are all set to hit the golf course on Tuesday June 21st. We need lots of parents to help so let Mrs Shand know of you can come along. You'll be really impressed with how well we can hit the ball.

It is great seeing you pop up on the screen Drew, it is almost like coming along with you! Hope you have a terrific flight (for how many hours??)
